One of those, "Eh, it was alright," type of weekends

- I was supposed to have a pretty rockin weekend....hang out at Ruby Skye after doing a loan on Friday, 3 loans to do on Saturday, and an HOP on Sunday at my mom's house. Instead, I had one loan on Friday, hung out at a ghetto bar after, had ZERO loans on Saturday (rescheduled), and had a flop of an HOP on Sunday. Retarded!! On the positive side, I know there will be more loans coming up...they've just rescheduled...not canceled. So it's okay. Also, I have another loan lined up...so that's about four loans in the coming week hopefully.

- Also, my brother and I got to rent and watch some movies... An Affair to Remember, Election, and A Very Long Engagement. Three fabulous movies!!

.
- I've wanted to watch this movie for the longest time, but never really had the opportunity to. I thought the exchange of dialogue between the two main characters was really modern. It was impressive. It kind of condoned cheating though. All in all..I still felt like it was worth watching

- I'd seen the beginning of Election before. I never had the opportunity to finish it up until last night. Reese Witherspoon is a crack up.

- I loved Amelie...so I really wanted to watch A Very Long Engagement because it has the same female lead and same director. Loved the movie. It was fabulously done.

- Went apartment hunting Saturday afternoon and found a couple awesome places. Looks like I'm going to be living in North Richmond soon.
- Mundo's first day at work is today. Strange.
- My eyes are getting so dry...grr..danged stress. It always happens when I stress out...my eyes just get really dry. It's my unusual physical response to stress. It's annoying.

- I read this on a site..."When it is dark enough, you can see the stars." I love that. It's so easy to overlook the wonderful things in life until things go dark.

- Here are some pictures from Disneyland......

Random Note of the Day: Track #11 on Common's new album....a kid says..."I want to be a duck."
