German themed Mexican restaurants = STOMACH DANGER!!

1) German themed restaurants:

So I went to Tahoe to go snowboarding, but I hardly got to enjoy it. I went up about 3 times, got hungry, searched for a restaurant with my boarding buddies, before my stomach decided to jump all over and punch my insides! We stopped at a Mexican place, but it looked like a German themed restaurant. The booths and the tables were made of this dark wood finish, and there was hardly any lighting. It looked like a murderer's basement. Dan and I decided to share a chicken quesadilla, I had one bite and it pushed me over! I had to lay down to keep myself from vomiting! We drove back up to Diamond Peak, but I ended up staying in the car the rest of the day. That SUCKED! Anyway, the moral of the story is: Don't eat at a German themed Mexican restaurants.

2) Golden Gate Park:

On Saturday, I went to Golden Gate Park and did a bit of biking around the place. I saw a bunch of cutesy little dogs, and now I'm back into my "I want to get a puppy" obsession. I also went into the conservatory of flowers. I've never been in there, but it's pretty much like the butterfly museum at Marine World, minus the butterflies. Still, it was pretty.

3) The thing about me is:

I get bored fairly easily. I think, "Ok, nursing, I can do that," but I also think, "Nursing, ok, that can be fun for 5-10 years tops." Nursing is incredibly rewarding, and I like it, but I know I'll lose interest and want to do something else with my life relatively quickly. I guess I can always work a few years, save, take a long time off, and continue the cycle.

If I were to be honest with myself, the only thing I never really tire of is music and performing. The sad thing about aging is my growing propensity to compromise what I thought was inevitable only a few short years ago. Eh, whatever.

Random Note of the Day: The repetitive "sexy noise" I thought my neighbors were making turned out to be a cracky pigeon. Weird.
