Wanting to do it all...

I have a problem. I think it's called "wanting-to-do-it-all-itis". There's a great deal of pressure that I admittedly put upon myself to be just about the best at everything, or at least try. Some might find this admirable, or stupid, depending upon which part of the process you're looking at. Earlier this semester I thought, "Yeah. It might be hard, but it can be done," but right about now I'm thinking, "I committed, and even though it seems near-impossible, it HAS to be done." This is obviously a far worse situation to be in. The following is a list of things that HAVE to be done by the second week of May:

1) First chapter of my thesis (somewhere around 25-35 pages of work)
2) Internal Review Board thesis proposal
3) 4 Patient write ups
4) A bunch of midterms
5) ATI
6) A research paper on some sexy topic for research methods
7) Publish 8 articles for work
8) Make out with the boyfriend
9) Find some time to make music and practice with Audiology
10) Hang out with my brother before he heads back to school
11) Use my free Kirkwood and my free Diamond Peak lift tickets (sooner rather than later)
12) Finish up this rotation at Kaiser San Rafael
13) Exercise regularly and lose 5-10 pounds

If this doesn't seem like a lot, then I would love to hear about how you'd plan on managing all of this. I'm trudging along, but I'm crossing my fingers that everything will fall magically into place. If that weren't enough, I just signed up to be a U.S. writer for a Spin Magazine-esque type of magazine based in the Philippines. So that brings the total to:

14) Write 2 reviews for Burn Magazine by THIS SATURDAY.

YIKES! What was I thinking?
